Hamilton County 4-H is grateful to the National Rifle Association Foundation for a $5,300 grant that provided recurve bows, targets, arrows and assorted other equipment to launch both its 4-H archery day camp and its new Archery 4-H club. Youth ages 8 to 12 enjoyed Hamilton County 4-H's Summer Archery Camp in the summer of 2024, where youth learned proper shooting techniques, safety practices, and parts of the bow and arrows. Archers utilized the club's new outdoor education pavilion, provided by the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners, and an outdoor picnic table, provided by the First Federal Bank's Community Rewards program, during their summer camp.
