New face fills Post 4 seat of Branford Town Council

Danny Federico  reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Tuesday, June 10, the Town of Branford held an election for Post 4 of the Branford Town Council. The race was between incumbent Stacey Griffith and newcomer Tera Kelley. By a vote of 69-32, Kelley was elected to fill the Post 4 seat. Kelley, a lifelong resident of Branford and a 2007 graduate of Branford High School, currently works as a registered nurse and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. “I want to raise my children in a small town and community similar to the way I grew up,” Kelley said about why she chose to run for the seat. “Holding a seat on the council gives me an opportunity to make sure that happens.
