Whether that is public works employees or the administrative side of many businesses, these people make the world go around. One of those roles is among the most important for those in danger or in need of help during an emergency. They are known as public safety telecommunicators. The voice behind a 911 call is only that - a voice - to the person calling. The interactions are usually quick, stressful and over in a flash.
