The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is continuing to investigate the disappearance of 13-year-old Live Oak resident Elizabeth Fortescue.
Fortescue was reported missing on Thursday, Dec. 25, after last being seen that morning. According to a social media post by the sheriff’s office, Fortescue was reported as a runaway.
Chief Deputy Buddy Williams said that, although the SCSO is continuing to follow up on leads, there is nothing new to report on the case.
Fortescue is a white female with strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. She stands at four feet and one inch tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds. Fortescue was last seen in the 9000 block of 131st Loop in Live Oak.
