MegaKnights cap off strong season with top-three state finish

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org Suwannee Middle School’s (SMS) Rocket League team, the MegaKnights, ended an impressive season with an appearance at the Sunshine State Esports League (SSEL) state semifinals on Tuesday, April 28. The MegaKnights entered the competition as one of the top teams in the state, only having two losses all season. Consisting of AJ Bristol, Tatum Brooks, Eli Brown, Braxton Hitt and Hem Patel, the team secured their place in the semifinals with a 3-1 win over fellow SMS team, TheDestroyers.
