McAlpin community food drives aims to help local families

Hailey Waldo Riverbend News The McAlpin Community Food Drive will take place from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, at the McAlpin Community Center, located at 9981 170th Ter. The community is encouraged to donate canned goods and other nonperishable food items to help support individuals and families facing food insecurity. Suggested donations include staples such as rice, oats, whole wheat pasta, canned vegetables, beans, soups, peanut butter and 100% fruit juice.
