Mayo Town Council tables peddlers license changes

On Monday, Nov. 10, the Mayo Town Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting began with the council adopting the agenda for the evening, followed by the approval of the minutes from the previous meeting. The council then called for public comment and old business, of which no response came for either item.
The meeting continued with the first reading of two ordinances. Both were focused on changing the future land use map and the official zoning atlas, specifically the zoning of the old Napa, located at 597 E Main St., in Mayo, from county industrial to town commercial. As it was the first reading, no action was taken
