Mayo Town Council hears about apprenticeship program

On Monday, July 13, the Mayo Town Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting.
The meeting began with the council adopting its agenda for the evening. After that, council members approved the minutes from the previous meeting. Next, they called for public comment, to which there was no response.
The first regular agenda item was a presentation by Kathleen Van Zant with the Florida Rural Water Association. She explained that the non-profit organization focused on helping municipalities with their utilities.
