Mayo Soccer Rec opens registration for travel soccer season

Hailey Waldo Riverbend News Mayo Soccer Rec has opened registration for its second season of travel soccer for children ages 5 through 14. The program offers young athletes an opportunity to continue developing their skills while competing against teams from surrounding communities. The cost is $85 per child and includes a uniform shirt, shorts, socks and insurance coverage. Space is limited, and registration spots will be secured only after payment is received. Practices are scheduled to begin the week of Monday, Aug. 17, with games starting Saturday, Sept. 19. Teams will compete in Mayo, Branford and Fort White throughout the season.
