Mayo resident Helen Haigh turns 100

Helen Haigh celebrated her 100th birthday at Lafayette Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Monday, Feb. 9, a milestone that brought generations of her family together to celebrate alongside her. “She’s as spunky as she comes,” Helen’s daughter, Susan Haigh, said. “No filter — she’ll tell you what’s on her mind.” Susan said her mother had always wanted to live to be 100.
