Mayo celebrates the beginning of the Christmas season

Mayo officially welcomed the Christmas season on Saturday, Nov. 29, beginning with the Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Hometown Holiday Market. Vendors from across Lafayette County set up around the courthouse square to show off their wares. The market boasted everything from clothes to custom magnets, fun Christmas decorations, custom speakers, and cups. The market lasted until 3 p.m.
