Mary Louise Touchton Ingram, 86, of Wellborn, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Haven Hospice – Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Wellborn and worked for over 27 years with Winn-Dixie, retiring as a General Manager in the early 2000s. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, fishing and tending to her yard and flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Emma Louise Connell; her husbands, David Ingram and Glenn Touchton; her grandson, Steven Savitz; her brothers, Lamont Connell, Laverne Connell, Donald Connell and Gary Connell; and her sister, Joy Norris.
She is survived by her loving children, Monty Savitz (Sherry) of Live Oak; Mike Savitz (Teresa) of Cairo, Ga., Michele Brannon (Doug) of Wellborn, Mark Touchton (Cindy) of Live Oak and Rita Frayer of Live Oak; and her sister, Jeannie Butler of Live Oak. Eight grandchildren, Tara, Brandy, Justin, Mandi, Kaitlin, Trevor, Jason and Robbie, along with 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survive.
A funeral service for Mrs. Ingram was conducted on Monday, April 14, 2025, in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Lewis Gooch and Mr. Dwight Law officiating. Interment followed in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends for a time of visitation beginning prior to the service at the funeral home.
