Local youth go hog wild at the Suwannee Valley Youth Livestock Show and Sale

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org Students from all corners of the tri-county area converged on the Bob Holmes Arena in Live Oak for the 2026 Suwannee Valley Youth Livestock Show and Sale. This five-day event was packed with showmanship, camaraderie and high quality livestock. From Monday, March 23, through Thursday, March 26, youth from 4-H and Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapters were able to compete in several livestock categories for record keeping and showmanship. The festivities ended on Friday morning, March 27, with the sale and buyers’ dinner. The following are the results of the show. Congratulations to all the students that competed!
