Derby Quinn Sherrell, of Mayo, was recently crowned Little Miss Agribusiness. She is the 6-year-old daughter of Garth and Toni Sherrell.
Derby enjoys raising 4-H chicks and doing anything outdoors. She recently graduated kindergarten and is looking forward to starting first grade at Lafayette Elementary School. She enjoys participating in many 4-H activities, such as growing a garden, raising chicks and doing daily crafts that are released by her local 4-H organization.
The America’s Miss Agribusiness (AMAg) pageant/scholarship focuses on traditional American values. AMAg was created out of a love for the agriculture industry and a vision for the future of our great nation's young ladies in agribusiness. AMAg’s goal is to educate the public and recruit the youth of America to become involved in agribusiness.
