Living God’s Way: Paul’s request for prayer

Church members are not the only ones to request prayer or ask to be put on the church prayer list. Paul, as he begins the conclusion of his letter to the Colossians, mentions several things in his request that he be put on the church prayer list (Colossians 4:2-4).
There are two things that should impress us about Paul’s request. We might think he would not need someone to pray for him, but Paul believed he did. If Paul thought such a request was necessary, preachers for the Lord today definitely need the church members to be praying for them and for the same reasons.
