Living God’s Way: Concluding with personal notes
In the final section of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, he writes some personal notes. Paul is sending Tychicus to the Ephesians with the letter he has just completed, to inform them of his well-being so they can be comforted. Paul’s final comments are his personal desires for the Ephesians (6:21- 24).
Mentioned in several of Paul’s letters, Tychicus was a traveling companion of Paul. Tychicus is described by Paul as “the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord.” Paul trusted Tychicus to do many different things. Tychicus was possibly from the city of Ephesus, and so his credibility would be high among the church members at Ephesus.
