After learning about the faith of the Colossians, one thing Paul continually prayed to God for was for Him to fill these brethren with “the knowledge of [God’s] will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” Paul mentions four ways he wants the Colossians to apply God’s will (Colossians 1:9-10).
He begins by stating that the Colossians are to “walk in a manner worthy of the Lord.” Paul wants them to conduct themselves in a manner that is suitable for being a follower of the Lord. He wants them to live up to the expectations that God has revealed to mankind. He wants them to regulate their life so that it is in conformity wit
