Livin’ Like Larry Farm Sanctuary Micro Pet Food Pantries installed throughout region

Jason Futch Reporter2@riverbendnews.org The Livin’ Like Larry Farm Sanctuary has been installing Micro Pet Food Pantries through its Suwannee Animal Ambassadors, Volunteers and Educators (S.A.V.E.) program. The sanctuary has provided a regional food bank for animal owners who face temporary hardships since its inception. Krystal Detty, founder of the sanctuary, said the organization wanted to provide short-term relief to families where the boxes are installed. “I believe the most effective way to reduce shelter overcrowding is to support families before they reach a crisis point,” Detty said. “When we help keep pets fed, we help keep them home where they belong.” S.A.V.E
