Live Oak native serves aboard USS Constitution

Seaman Recruit Orlando Ambriz, a native of Live Oak, Fla., is one of more than 60 sailors celebrating America's 249 years of independence while serving aboard USS Constitution, the Navy's oldest commissioned warship.
Ambriz graduated from Suwannee High School in 2024.
The skills and values needed to succeed in the Navy are similar to those found in Live Oak.
"Growing up, I learned to be responsible and have a good work ethic," Ambriz said. "That has helped me succeed so far in my short naval career."
