On Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 11:20 a.m., a 2018 freightliner tractor pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with lumber was traveling west on US-27 Alternate in Levy County. According to a report from Florida Highway Patrol, for unknown reasons, the driver, a 39-year-old man from Live Oak, veered across the median to the southern shoulder of US-27, where it overturned. The driver was transported to Shands Health UF in Gainesville with minor injuries.
