Live Oak man charged with armed robbery after attempted motel holdup

According to a probable cause affidavit from the Suwannee County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the Quality Inn and Suites, located at 6819 U.S. 129, shortly before 1 a.m. after receiving a report of a possible robbery. The report states deputies located a suspect, later identified as 20-year-old Tra'Darius Jerrod Norton of Live Oak, walking south on U.S. Highway 129.
