On Friday, May 15, the Live Oak Public Library hosted a Community Health Fair.
The library event featured booths from organizations across North Florida. These included the Florida Department of Health, Twisted Roots Yoga Studio and Sound Bath Experience, Three Rivers Legal Services, Partnership for Strong Families, Palms Medical Group, Soul Counseling, Another Way, Shine SHIP SMP Florida, Bloom, LifeSouth, Language of Love Ministries, Smokin’ Like A 57 Chevy, Narcotics Anonymous, Mammolink, Suwannee River Area Health Education Center and many more.
Attendees met new people, organizations and found the help they need. The event was a success not just for those who needed help but for the community at large.
“From community partners sharing valuable resources to visitors connecting, learning and enjoying the day together. This event was a wonderful reminder of the strength and support within our community,” the library wrote on Facebook.
