Live Oak Elks Lodge donates $1,000 to VA Domiciliary culinary class

The Live Oak Elks Lodge #1165 traveled to Lake City on Monday, Aug. 25, to present a check to the staff at the Veterans Affairs Domiciliary. According to Exalted Ruler Cathy Davis, the money was donated to the organization to assist with upgrading older items and acquiring new items for a culinary class that was recently started at the domiciliary. “They gave the lodge a list and cost, and the Elks were able to provide the funds,” she said.
