The Encounter Conference took place Friday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 12. This is an event sponsored by the Florida Church of God Youth Department to train and equip teen leaders. It is held once a year at the State Campgrounds in Wimauma, Fla. Church of God teen leaders from all over the state register and attend this conference hosted in November each year. The event focuses on connecting student leaders with proven leadership tools and mentors. It provides two days of intensive ministry training and creates next-gen leaders. Hand-picked students from groups across Florida, including the student ministry of Live Oak Church of God experience practical and tactical coaching that they bring home and put to work in their local church and community.
