Women from across the community are invited to gather for a day of fellowship, encouragement and faith during the upcoming Ladies Day event hosted by Live Oak Christian Church.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 21, at the church, located at 1015 N. Ohio Ave., in Live Oak.
This six-hour gathering aims to give women an opportunity to grow spiritually while building relationships with others in the community.
The featured speaker for the event will be Kim Erickson, whose presentation focuses on faith, resilience and finding joy through difficult life circumstances.
“My growing relationship with the Lord and my Bible saved me from the dark, relentless pit of losing a child,” Erickson wrote. “God’s promises overwhelmed me with His love. My developing focus on eternity, where my family would be complete again, restored my joy and peace.”
Erickson said she hopes sharing her story will help others strengthen their own faith.
“I want to share my experiences with you with the hope of helping you reach a deeper relationship with God,” she wrote. “Gripping tightly to the hand of Jesus, a beautiful, joy-filled life truly is possible no matter what circumstances you face in this temporary world.”
The Ladies Day event will begin with sign-in and refreshments from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by the program from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided for attendees.
Those wishing to attend are encouraged to register in advance so that adequate food and supplies can be prepared.
Participants may register in several ways, including scanning the QR code accompanying this article, completing the form at www.loccfl.com/womens-ministry.html, emailing lochristianfl@gmail.com, or calling 386-362-1085.
