Letters to the Editor: Who is steering the ship?

It is not “We the People,” for less than a third of vote. We elect the federal and state politicians to steer the ship, but they don’t steer. The reason they don’t steer it either there is only about 1/3 of them voting for “We the People,” the rest of them “Vote down party lines,” so guess what, the “Party” is at the helm. Now you may say the “Party” sounds like communism and it may be closer than you think. But the party I’m referring to is the Democratic and Republican parties. Each party has been in power 16 of the past 32 years. Why is each party blaming the other for all the ills of the United States of America? In my opinion, neither party has the guts to stan
