Foreign born individuals that have entered the United States illegally are guilty of a misdemeanor that carries with it potential penalties such as fines, imprisonment and in some cases deportation.
Any person suspected of having entered the United States illegally will be summoned to appear in an Immigration Court to determine their guilt or innocence. All people living in the United States regardless of the immigration status are guaranteed the equal protection of the law guaranteed to them in the 14th Amendment.
The immigrants that are not authorized Legal Permanent Residents that are found guilty in a Court of Law are subject to fines, imprisonment and in some case deportation.
