Lesley Fry recognized for earning Emerging Leader distinction

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org On Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Florida School Boards Association (FSBA) announced that Lesley Fry, District 1 representative of the Suwannee County School Board, has earned the title of Emerging Leader. According to the FSBA, in order to earn the distinction, school board members elected in 2024 are required to complete and document a minimum of 48 hours of professional development within one year of their election. Board members earn these hours by participating in parts one and two of the FSBA's New School Board Member Training.
