Leading the way to a bid at the state championships: Damon Wooley named Riverbend News’ Golf Coach of the Year

During his time in the position, he has led his teams to multiple district championships and regional appearances, and has sent individual players to the state championships. Wooley is a SHS Class of 1995 graduate and grew up just one block from Paul Langford Stadium in Live Oak. After college, he returned to Suwannee County and started his coaching career with the Bulldogs' football and wrestling teams for 12 years before turning his attention to golf.
