Lafayette school board approves teacher salary plan tied to new state funding

The memorandum stems from the Florida Legislature’s 2026-27 General Appropriations Act, which set aside funding for salary increases of up to $3,000 for full-time classroom teachers and certified pre-kindergarten teachers with at least 10 years of full-time teaching experience in a Florida public school.
