Lafayette High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter recently received a $500 grant from the Republican Party of Florida’s Lafayette County chapter to help offset student travel expenses. According to a social media post from Lafayette FBLA, the grant will assist students with the cost of attending the Florida FBLA State Leadership Conference scheduled for March. The funding will help make participation more accessible for students to represent Lafayette County. This year’s leadership conference will take place in Orlando from Thursday, March 12, through Sunday, March 15.
