Lafayette County School Board approves exploring self-insured options

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org A variety of topics were discussed during the regular Lafayette County School Board meeting on Tuesday, April 21, including student recognitions, a scholarship opportunity for local students, and employee health insurance costs. The meeting began with recognitions of four of the district’s students. Each month, students are nominated by their teachers for their growth in the classroom, their exemplary character traits, and for embodying what it means to be a Hornet.
