Lafayette County accident claims life

 Danny Federico  reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com  A 55-year-old Branford man was pronounced deceased following a single-vehicle accident that occurred in Lafayette County at approximately 2:48 a.m. on Saturday, July 6.  According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the Branford resident was driving east on US Highway 27 in a pickup truck, traveling west of Northeast A. Hamlin Lane when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and onto the north shoulder of the highway. Upon exiting the roadway, the truck hit a culvert on its front left end and overturned. As a result, the driver was ejected from the vehicle.  The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. FHP reports that th
