Lafayette commissioners hold reorganization meeting

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Tuesday, Nov. 14, the Lafayette County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting opened as a reorganization meeting, presenting the board with the opportunity to change positions within the board itself, as well as heads of departments and employees in said departments. The board began by electing to keep both the chair and vice chair of the board the same, with Commissioner Earnest Jones serving as chair and Commissioner Anthony Adams serving as vice-chair. The board also elected to keep its current representatives in other organizations, including the North Florida Regional Planning Council,
