Lafayette Commission extends multiple grant projects

Christian Peterson reporter@riverbendnews.org On Tuesday, Jan. 27, the Lafayette County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting. Uniquely this time, due to repairs in the courthouse, the meeting was held at the Fifth District Community Center. However, before the commissioners' meeting began, the board opened as the Board of Adjustments. The first item to come before the board was a resolution requesting a variance. The resolution was asking that the side setback of the property be moved from 20 feet to seven feet to allow for some new construction.
