Lafayette Commission continues burn ban
On Tuesday, Feb. 24, the Lafayette County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting began with the board approving the minutes from the previous meeting before calling for public comment.
Kelly Flint stood up to speak, informing the board of some the activities of the Mayo Woman’s Club hosts. She then told them that the club was interested in restarting the fireworks tradition for the Fourth of July. The board agreed this was a good idea, and encouraged the club to make them aware of any way the board could assist.
The next item to come before the board was the Small County Outreach Program. The board unanimously agreed to submit Clyde Avenue
