Lady Hornets kick off second half of their season

The Lafayette High School girls' varsity basketball team is looking to bounce back after the Christmas break with hopes of a District Tournament appearance. Having struggled to find consistency during the first part of the season, they will look through their young roster for someone to emerge as the clear leader of the team.
The Lady Hornets entered the Christmas break with a 5-6 record, along with district wins over the Branford Lady Buccaneers and Hamilton County Lady Trojans. However, the Lafayette girls are still looking for that signature win to help propel them into the post season with confidence.
