Kelly named Deputy Director of Emergency Management

Jason Futch reporter2.riverbendnews@gmail.com The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office Division of Emergency Management continues to make moves with the recent announcement of Gia Kelly’s hiring to serve as the agency’s Deputy Director. Kelly brings experience in finance and emergency management, having been previously employed with Thomas Howell Ferguson CPA. Kelly was born and raised in Boca Raton, Fla., and pursued a degree in finance at Florida State University. After graduating in 2023, she began her work in government consulting with Thomas Howell Ferguson CPA and helped with hurricane recovery efforts through multiple jurisdictions within the state. Kelly was introduced to
