Jennings Town Council members take oaths

Rick Patrick Riverbend Newspaper Prior to getting down to the business at hand for the regular meeting of the Jennings Town Council on Tuesday, June 2, three members of the council took their oaths of office to serve a four- year term until June of 2030. John Prine, Cynthia Daniels and Phillip Jackson were already serving on the council. Charles Barrett was re-appointed to serve as Mayor. Antonette Crumedy was selected to continue in her role as Vice-Mayor. Karla Capellini from the US Department of Agriculture spoke to the council members about potential grant funding for necessary equipment and related needs.
