There appears to be no decision forthcoming regarding county-run fire and emergency medical services (EMS) operating in Jennings.
The Jennings Town Council met for its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 3, at Town Hall to revisit the tabled discussion concerning Hamilton County Fire Rescue. When Town Attorney Sheena Rickerson spoke on the matter, it appeared there would be no decision in the near future. She said she and Town Manager Jennifer Gramling were still working out details and planning to meet with county officials again to discuss options.
Rickerson said county officials recently toured the Jennings Volunteer Fire Department building
