The Jennings Town Council met for its monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 1, at the Town Hall. The meeting, which lasted less than 10 minutes, provided no new updates on the business of the town. Public Works Manager Josh Johnson and Police Chief Reginald Akins both praised the work the council had been doing for the community. Both Town Manager Jennifer Hightower and Town Attorney Michael Pope had nothing to report.
Phillip Jackson, was the only council member with closing remarks, returning the praises of Johnson and Akins by thanking them for the work they continue to do.
The next Jennings Town Council meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, in the Town Hall, located at 1291 Florida St.
