Jennings Public Works Coordinator arrested for domestic dispute

A Sunday morning scuffle turned into serious charges against 41-year-old Joshua Jontue Johnson after engaging in an altercation with a female victim.
According to the arrest report, on Sunday, Aug. 3, at approximately 12:52 a.m., Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Deputies William Hunter and Chesney Puckett responded to Northwest County Road 141 in reference to a battery in progress. Upon arrival, Deputy Hunter met with Johnson, who stated he and the female victim had engaged in a “tussle.” He also said he was aware the victim was pregnant.
