Jennings Police Department urges for EMS service in Jennings

The Jennings Town Council held its first meeting of the year on Tuesday, Jan. 6. During the meeting, Jennings Police Department (JPD) Lt. Shawn Raggins addressed the council on the importance of having Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Jennings following a fatal accident that occurred on New Year's Eve.
Town Manager Jennifer Hightower announced in her report that she and Town Attorney Sheena Rickerson planned to meet with the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners on Wednesday, Jan. 14, to further discuss plans for EMS services and rates. Hightower also said that the Children’s Christmas Party held on Thursday, Dec. 18, had fewer children
