Jennings Police Department receives drone money

During the meeting, the Jennings Police Department (JPD) delivered good news to the Council, as it secured a grant for the use of drones during criminal investigations. Prior to the news, Tom Pierce of St. Mary’s Baptist Church came before the Council to address the church’s water bill. While he was out of town, a pipe in the church burst, causing water to flow inside and drive up his water bill to over $900.
