Jennings Police Department receives approval for new equipment

During the regular meeting of the Jennings Town Council on Tuesday, Dec. 2, the agency requested $9,322.64 to purchase three new laptops and thermal printers. According to JPD Lt. Shawn Raggins, the upgrades are needed for the department to comply with upcoming changes to the county’s dispatch equipment. Lt. Raggins noted the budget for office supplies for the year was $5,000.
