Jean Amerson

Jean Amerson, 84, passed away, on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the Lafayette Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Lewie S. and Katherine Peters Carmichael. She is preceded in death by one brother, Lewie Carmichael and one granddaughter, Jennifer Wallace. Amerson worked for the Jordan Insurance Agency and was a member of Grace Baptist Church, The Order of the Eastern Star-Chapter 112 of Branford, where she served as the Worthy Matron three different times for the Lafayette Baptist Association and was the WMV Director from 1997 to 2005.
