Jasper Woman’s Club to host Chili and Soup Cook Off

Jason Futch reporter2.riverbendnews@gmail.com   The Woman’s Club of Jasper is hosting a Chili and Soup Cook Off at the clubhouse on Saturday, Jan. 18. It is an opportunity for the    to come out and try some of the various chilis and soups offered. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is $5 per person to sample the chili and soup entries. There will also be a Sweets and Desserts Bar Bake Sale at the event. Each baked item is homemade and will be fifty cents each. Proceeds from the event will go towards community projects that the Woman’s Club of Jasper is currently planning on. The club has also noted it is currently limiting the competition to 12 participan
