Jasper Police Department urges residents to lock doors

By Danny Federico: Riverbend News Due to receiving several calls about a group of juveniles or late teens breaking into vehicles and causing damage to property in numerous areas of the city, the Jasper Police Department has begun a special 9 p.m. routine. On Saturday, Nov. 14, between the hours of 8 p.m. and 12 a.m., the Jasper Police Department received several calls about a group of youth causing damage to property in numerous areas of the city. According to the police department, they have received surveillance footage from one of the homes and are currently looking into the numerous incidents that have taken place.
