Jasper coming to life with First Saturday Market Days

By Bryant Thigpen Riverbend News The community is invited to come out on Saturday, Sept. 5, to Central Avenue on the first Saturday of each month for Jasper’s First Saturday Market Days and Farmers Market. The event kicks off at 8 a.m., and will last until 1 p.m., and it’s a great opportunity to build friendships while supporting local businesses. “There’s no charge to anyone who wants to come and sell their crafts and wears,” said Cindy Eatmon, coordinator for the event. “Any vendor from anywhere is welcome to come and participate.” The First Saturday Market Days is not hosted by an organization, so there are no administrative fees, which means everyone gets to kee
