Jasper attorney arrested on fraud charges

By Lee Trawick Riverbend News Thursday, Aug. 26, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office received a warrant for the arrest of Brittany Cooper from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office for suspected fraud. Cooper is also the suspect in a separate investigation out of Bradford County, which seems to mirror the charges brought forth on Thursday. This investigation came after a client reached out to Cooper's law office to draw up paperwork. Cooper fulfilled the client's request and delivered the paperwork as legitimate documents.
